58m Tri-deck equipped with poddriven diesel-electric propulsion new generation motor yacht.

When we were asked to design a 55 m plus motoryacht concept by Sarp Yacht shipyard manager Emre Şandan, we were aware that this had to be a flagship for the brand, at least for a few years. As we are building a 46 metre design of ours in the yard, we thought a larger version of the same styling concept would be appropriate, also because everybody seems to have a liking for the expertly executed result.

40m Classic Tri-deck Motor Yacht There is a lot of hype about ‘green boats’. For me the most ‘green’ parameter is a long waterline length because the vessel achieves her cruising speed easily with low power.

The genes of this classically styled mini ship are coming from our 24 meter wooden beauty Larimar created hand in hand with one of our design office’s repeat clients. Wherever she goes, she draws the attention of salty sailors and connoisseurs of finer things in life, often owners of much bigger boats.

40.40m Sailing Yacht epoxy vacuum assisted GRP with carbon reinforcement hull and superstructure

In keeping with our other contemporary Sarp Yacht designs, we tried to create a fresh and distinctive styling for this exciting high performance sloop. Hull form is molded to be fast and seaworthy at all conditions. Fine entry with a little deeper sections forward will reduce slamming and slice through the chop. This boat will plane quiet early with a displacement length ratio of 105, but she has moderately wide stern lines to stay balanced at heeled conditions.

Hull form is dominated by a long chine at about middle height of topsides. Inside volume and heeled stability is enhanced by this chine especially at aft part of hull. Two crew cabins are positioned in this flat portion aft of the galley and third guest cabin.

We are very confident in using this state of the art construction method because Sarp Yacht team excels in laminating, vacuum bagging and post-curing all types of composites.

As a prolific yacht design office, we are among the pioneers of trawler yachts in Turkey and even in Europe. These sturdy looking little ships originated from the west coast of US. However American concepts lacked many features which would be essential in the Mediterranean.

We are lucky to work with very experienced owners to create and build together some customized vessels.
When we were asked to develop a design for Sarp Yacht, we tried to apply all this knowledge collected over the years.

46m Motor Yacht As the kick-off project of brand new Sarp Yachts, we had to create a motor-yacht which would stand the test of time.

The intention for the design was to give character to the vessel in every possible setting she may sail to. For this her lines had to be nicely flowing, well-proportioned and fresh.
